Internship or graduation project: Interaction Design XR UX/UI

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

During this internship, you will work on designing user experiences for XR solutions such as LogicSteel XR and other augmented and virtual reality applications. Within this context, you will develop innovative prototypes where interaction, usability, and spatial understanding are key. You will research how users navigate and act within a 3D environment and translate these insights into concrete UX/UI designs.

You will develop and test interactive prototypes in Unity 3D, refining them iteratively. Based on insights from usage, testing, and feedback, you will improve your designs and optimize interactions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary development team and follow your concepts from the initial idea through to a functional prototype.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing UX/UI concepts for XR headsets and 3D interaction

• Building interactive prototypes in Unity 3D

• Testing and iteratively improving user experiences

• Substantiating design decisions based on user insights

• Delivering a functional and validated XR prototype

The outcome of your internship will be an interactive prototype in Unity 3D, including well-founded design decisions, contributing to the further development of XR solutions within the organization.

WE ASK

• A Bachelor-level (HBO) education in Interaction Design, Game Development, or a related field

• Experience with Unity 3D and the ability to independently develop prototypes

• Strong conceptual design skills and the ability to justify design choices

• Interest in 3D interaction, UX design, and XR technologies
