Sales Engineer

What are you going to do?

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our team at Voortman USA LLC. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to drive product demonstrations, engage with customers, and support pre-sales activities. This position is crucial in helping us maintain our leadership in the market while delivering exceptional value to our clients.

We ask

• Manage Customer Requests: Handle incoming requests via phone, email, and Web Shop with a focus on accuracy.

• Technical Verification: Verify customer information and conduct parts research using SAP, equipment PDFs, JT files, and email correspondence with pictures to ensure correct orders.

• Quote Creation: Validate information and create quotes to share with customers.

• Order Processing: Collect purchase orders (POs) and communicate order details and shipping expectations to customers. Update internal systems (MRP/CRM/SAP) with accurate lead times.

• Feedback Reporting: Report suggestions, customer feedback, and operational issues to the Commercial Team Lead.

• Upselling and Cross-Selling: Proactively upsell and cross-sell relevant products based on customer interests and buying behavior.

• Part Details Maintenance: Maintain and update accurate part details, including part numbers, descriptions, specifications, and vendor information.

• Pricing Maintenance: Update pricing and part details such as part numbers and descriptions.

• Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
