Installation Engineer
• Install and set up our high-end steel processing machines worldwide. • Spend 3 weeks on-site abroad, 1 week at home. • Travel to destinations including the USA, Europe, Australia, the UK, and Canada.
Maintenance Engineer
• Ensure our high-end steel processing machines stay in top condition. • Perform scheduled maintenance. Projects abroad last 1 to 5 days, mostly during weekdays, with weekends at home. • Travel mainly within the Benelux and parts of Europe.
Service Engineer
• Assist customers and resolve machine breakdowns. • Requires flexibility, but mostly weekdays, with weekends at home. • Travel mainly within the Benelux and parts of Europe.
Commissioning Engineer
• Bring our high-end steel processing machines to life worldwide and train operators on-site. • Spend 3 weeks on-site abroad, 1 week at home. • Travel to destinations including the USA, Europe, Australia, Canada, and the UK.
Site Supervisor
• Lead and coordinate projects, ensuring smooth handovers. • Spend 3 weeks on-site abroad, 1 week at home. • Travel to destinations including the USA, Europe, Australia, Canada, and the UK.

Kars has been with Voortman for almost four years. ‘I started as a mechanic in the Control Cabinet Production, then moved up to the Assembly department, where I spent two years mainly building drilling machines. For the past year, I’ve been working in Installation & Commissioning, and I’m aiming to take the next step to become a Site Supervisor.'

Johan’s career began in 2005 as an assembly worker. He soon had the opportunity to work independently as a service technician. Over the years, he advanced to Senior Service Technician, and since 2022 he has been a Field Support Engineer: ‘What makes my work so fulfilling is that I can now help others grow, just as I was given the opportunity to grow myself.’
