Voortman USA LLC is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Commercial Team Leader to join our growing team.

What are you going to do?

This individual will serve as the liaison between our customers and internal departments, ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction and the achievement of our global strategic goals. You will lead a team that drives innovation in services, implements pricing strategies, and optimizes customer solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for escalations, driving a 100% customer satisfaction rate by working with both customers and internal departments.

  • Develop and manage strategies and goals for the Commercial team in alignment with global company objectives.

  • Collaborate on updating services and identifying new opportunities like SLA contracts, Tooling sales, Automated Tooling systems, and custom reporting solutions.

  • Lead the creation and execution of pricing strategies, including determining pricing groups, discounts, markups, and margins.

  • Oversee territory management and ensure optimal customer contact through collaboration with the Sales Department.

  • Provide regular reports to upper management on department performance, actions, and results.

  • Partner with HR and Recruitment to attract, hire, and onboard top talent for the department.

  • Conduct performance reviews and foster the professional development of your team.

  • Implement standardization in account reporting to assess cost savings, productivity, and efficiency.

  • Manage training for new and existing team members to ensure department success.

  • Additional duties as assigned by management.

Job requirements

We ask

  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

  • A proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset.

  • Experience in commercial management or inside sales (2+ years), preferably in CNC machinery or steel processing industries.

  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing a small to medium-sized team.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and general productivity software.

  • Ability to travel 20% of the time (domestic and international).

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • High school diploma or GED required; further education or certification is a plus.
