Job description

What are you going to do?

As a Developer at LogicSteel, you’ll become part of our Algorithms development team. Together, you’ll build and enhance cloud-based enterprise systems that support steel fabrication and machinery businesses worldwide. You’ll work on both native and browser-based applications, solving complex technical and mathematical challenges that directly impact our global client base.

You’ll be involved in the full development lifecycle, from concept to delivery. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, industry-specific software solutions in a collaborative and technically driven environment. You will:

  • Develop and improve cloud-based enterprise systems for global clients;

  • Solve mathematical and geometric problems with precision and creativity;

  • Conduct research to explore new technologies and development approaches;

  • Work closely with fellow developers within the Algorithms team to deliver high-quality software.

Job requirements

We ask

You’re a proactive developer with a passion for problem-solving and innovation. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and have a strong foundation in modern development tools and cloud technologies.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification;

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience;

  • You live within a maximum of 60 minutes from our Nottingham office and are willing to work in the office at least 2 days a week;

  • Proficiency in .NET and ASP.NET Core (version 8+), C#, AWS or Azure;

  • Experience with source control, mathematical/geometric problem solving and research experience;

  • Familiarity with or interest in Angular 18+, DynamoDB or NoSQL, RabbitMQ/MassTransit, Microservices, CQRS, DDD, TDD, Agile, CI/CD.
