Job description
What are you going to do?
You’ll be at the helm of commissioning and ensuring the safe delivery and installation of our standalone steel processing machinery or full production lines, according to customer specifications. You’ll also have the ability to effectively train operators at customers location so that they can maximize the use of their investment.
In this pivotal position, you’ll also embrace the opportunity to serve as person of contact for technical aspects of our commissioning process when at customer locations.
Job requirements
We ask
Check installation is done according to order confirmation.
Check the installation if everything is working correctly.
Setup the software for the machine to run production.
Test machines during production.
Daily report back to Project management on the status
Ensure clear communication with colleagues and the customer
Run the Site acceptance test
Train customers
Requirements
High School Education or equivalent.
Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in CNC machine repair, maintenance or operations.
Have a passion for technology and enjoy doing both mechanical and electrical work
Strong communication skill
Strong electrical trouble shooting skills
Computer knowledge
Able to read Electrical drawings / Hydraulic drawings / Mechanic manuals
Basic Microsoft Office knowledge and/or Computerized Maintenance Management System knowledge.
Fast learner in technique
Team player
Able to travel (internationally) for training purposes
Ability to work overtime or on off shifts as needed.
An adventurous individual who likes to see some of the world and is willing to be away from home for two to three consecutive weeks at a time.
Current Passport for international travel.
Experience in machine tooling is a plus
Valid driver’s license
