What are you going to do?

In this role, you’ll help shape a high-performing organization by developing talent, strengthening leadership capabilities, and delivering people strategies that support business growth. You’ll coach leaders on employee relations, performance, workforce planning, career development, and organizational change while helping foster an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging workplace where employees can thrive.

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Partner with business leaders to understand organizational priorities, workforce needs, and business objectives.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and solutions that support business performance and long-term growth.

  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations related to talent, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement.

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders and employees across North American operations.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Coach and advise managers and leaders on effective people management and leadership practices.

  • Support talent reviews, succession planning, career development, and employee development initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen leadership capabilities and organizational performance.

  • Partner with leaders to identify and develop high-potential talent and critical skills.

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations matters, performance management, workplace concerns, and policy interpretation.

  • Help leaders address employee issues consistently, fairly, and in alignment with company policies and applicable employment requirements.

  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, development plans, and corrective action.

  • Promote a positive, respectful and positive work environment.

Organizational Effectiveness & Change Management

  • Partner with leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, restructuring, and other organizational effectiveness initiatives.

  • Support employees and leaders through organizational change by providing effective communication, coaching, and change-management support.

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experiences, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to promote consistency and share best practices.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Help foster a workplace culture that supports collaboration, accountability, development, and employee engagement.

  • Partner with leaders to identify opportunities to strengthen employee engagement and retention.

  • Support initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience.

Job requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or similar role.

  • Demonstrated experience partnering with and coaching leaders at multiple organizational levels.

  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Experience supporting organizational change and workforce planning initiatives.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

  • Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information.

  • Experience working across multiple locations, business units, or subsidiaries is preferred.

  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR is a plus.
