Parts Coordinator - Level 2 / Buyer (2)

What are you going to do?

This individual will be responsible for sourcing and managing vendor relationships to ensure the smooth operation of CNC machinery at our customer locations across North America. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of sourcing parts, maintaining inventory levels, and working collaboratively with both local and global suppliers.

• Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with local and global vendors, ensuring a steady supply of quality parts for CNC machinery.

• Source and evaluate vendors to secure the best prices, delivery schedules, and product quality for parts used in automated CNC machinery operations.

• Manage the procurement process from vendor selection through purchase order creation, tracking, and delivery coordination.

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet customer needs while minimizing excess stock.

• Act as a liaison between vendors, internal teams, and customers to resolve any supply chain or product-related issues.

• Adapt quickly to evolving business needs, which may include taking on new tasks and responsibilities as the company grows.

• Stay current on market trends, industry standards, and new product offerings to optimize sourcing strategies.

• Work with internal teams to forecast demand, identify potential supply disruptions, and proactively address challenges.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all aspects of procurement and vendor management.

We ask

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proven experience in a parts coordination, procurement, or purchasing role, ideally within a manufacturing or machinery-focused environment.

• Strong understanding of automated machinery parts and components.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to pivot quickly in response to changing business needs.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and any relevant procurement or inventory management software.
