What are you going to do?

Position Objective:

The Project Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing installation and commissioning schedules for CNC machinery projects across North America. This role ensures alignment of resources, timelines, and project milestones across regional and global teams. The Project Scheduler plays a critical role in maximizing resource efficiency, supporting project execution, and maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment where schedules frequently change.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain installation and commissioning schedules across multiple concurrent CNC machinery projects 

  • Coordinate scheduling for approximately 20–25 field service personnel (FTE) 

  • Align North America scheduling with global (ROW) planning through frequent coordination with HQ 

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Field Service Teams to ensure schedule accuracy and ensure the schedule reflects the full scope of project activities

  • Track project progress and advise projects team of potential risks, delays or conflicts, and recommended strategies to mitigate issues

  • Support other departments and internal teams in request for schedule to identify available capacity and slots

  • Analyze current and forecasted workloads to determine capacity requirements

  • Adjust schedules based on real-time changes, including technician availability and project needs 

  • Coordinate schedules with assembly and manufacturing facilities to ensure readiness for installation and commissioning 

  • Organize travel logistics for field teams, including flights, accommodations, and related arrangements 

  • Schedule and coordinate specialty tools required for installations and ensure timely shipment 

  • Assist in tracking shipments and ensuring alignment with installation schedules 

  • Utilize scheduling and reporting tools such as RobEx, Salesforce, and Power BI 

  • Communicate schedule updates clearly across internal and international stakeholders 

  • Identify scheduling conflicts and proactively implement solutions to maintain project timelines 

 

Job requirements

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills 

  • Minimum of 3 years scheduling experience

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in scheduling, planning, or coordination roles 

  • Experience within CNC machinery, industrial equipment, or technical service environments 

  • Familiarity with resource planning and scheduling tools 

  • Experience working in an international or global team environment 

  • A valid driver's license, passport, and the ability for international travel required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
