Are you a dealmaker? A commercial talent with a huge drive? We are looking for a Sales Manager for the UK & Ireland. We would like to grow further in this region with our advanced steel processing machines and could use your expertise there.

What are you going to do?

You will be responsible for expanding our customer base in the United Kingdom and Ireland. You will follow up on leads and effectively get (potential) customers excited about our product portfolio. This means you will spend a lot of time on the road and at our customers. When not travelling you work from your (home) office.

Together with our Sales Director and your two sales colleagues for the UK, you will set targets. To achieve these objectives, you will be given a lot of freedom to use your creativity. Our own travel department is at your disposal to book your business trips and to arrange everything related to welcoming international customers at our showroom in Rijssen (the Netherlands). Partly because of this, you can focus all your efforts on building strong client relationships. It is important that you understand how trade is conducted in these countries and that you have technical affinity. After all, you have to know what you are selling and be able to inform the customer extensively. Naturally, you have a lot of consultation with your enthusiastic colleagues from account management, sales support and sales engineering departments.

The highlights:

  • You look for new sales opportunities and expansion of our customer base, as well as maintaining existing customer relationships;
  • You understand customer needs and processes, identify opportunities and are aware of market trends in areas such as technology, competition and price;
  • You manage and maintain customer files, keep track of visit and sales activities, sales forecasts and targets;
  • You are in close contact with other departments like Product Management, Project Management and Product Development to maintain happy customers;
  • You continue to develop yourself, for example through self-study on product, market and organisational knowledge.
